The Menhart family and some friends participated in this year’s March Of Dimes walk. The “Miracle Makenna” tee shirts proclaim God’s Power and give Glory to Him.

Makenna was born 3 1/2 months premature. Doctor’s gave up on her many times. There were times when the doctors advised Makenna’s mom (Gretchen) and dad (Jimmy) to just unhook her from the life support and to just hold her until she dies.

Jimmy spoke a word from God to the doctors. A proclamation of his faith in his Savior. Denying what this world was screaming at him, Jimmy spoke a declaration of faith when he said, “My God did not give up on me, and he certainly has not given up on Makenna either.”

Makenna celebrated her first year of life on April 1st. She is fine. God said so.

Makenna had a bout with some breathing problems recently. She went back to the hospital for a short stay. She's now back home and is fine.

To God be the glory!

Truly it is what the Lord has for those who serve Him. It is not by coincidence that the scripture states in 1 Peter 2:24  “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

There is a lot too healing. There is both physical and spiritual healing. Take some time to hear the Word of God preached tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday at Family Faith Assembly of God in Carmichaels, PA. Brother Frank is preaching there (April 23-25, 2010). It starts at 7:00 PM tonight and tomorrow night. Sunday is the 10:30 AM service only.

Reach out to God, and He will take you into His arms of love and mercy. Hope to see you there!
